The Five-Step Process

Obtain a rebate of up to 1.0%* of the purchase price of your house. Just do your initial house search on the net, and we do the rest! We make the appointments, and show you the interior of the houses.  We make the offer, acceptance and do the closing, just as traditional real estate companies do.

  1. Register on the site - Rebates are provided only for registered users of HouseRebate.
     
  2. Pre-qualify for a Loan - The first step we here at HouseRebate would like you to take is to find out what price house you can comfortably afford. This step will pre-qualify you for the loan you take out to purchase your new home. By taking this step with a qualified lender in advance, it enables buyer (yourself) to profit by being able to move quickly on a home that you place a bid on, and it enables the seller to confidently deal with the buyer. Being pre-qualified tells the seller you are serious about buying because you have taken the necessary steps to show you are capable of financing the house you want.  You may pre-qualify for your loan online, quickly and easily through our Mortgage Center, Click Here . This does NOT contractually bind you to this institution for your home's financing. You are free to choose whatever institution you feel most comfortable working with for your home loan.

  3. Search for houses - Simply search for multiple listing service information on our web site, Click Here. Data from certain cities may not be available online. For additional listings Click Here.

    EMail Notification Service: To receive automatic emails of homes coming on the market meeting your search criteria Click Here. Note: For new homes, our agent must accompany you on your first visit to the project in order for us to receive a commission from the builder.

  4. House Tour - After you drive by the home, if you would like to see the inside of the house, contact us and we will set up an appointment for you. Please obtain the loan pre-qualification letter prior to viewing the interior of the houses.

  5. Make an offer on a house - We provide you with all the sale comparables for similar houses in the area so you can make an intelligent offer. We guide you through the entire buying process offer, negotiations, acceptance, escrow, pest control, title, physical inspection, loan process and closing.






* Rebates are subject to our terms of use. The rebate only applies if you drive by the property prior to setting up appointments and the purchase price is at least $100,000. To the extent you want to view properties without driving by first, the maximum rebate is 1/6 of our commission up to .5% of the purchase price. The maximum rebate for properties purchased between $75,000 and $100,000 will be $500. There are no rebates available on properties less than $75,000. Void where prohibited by state law. Currently rebates are not available in AK, IA, KS, KY, LA, MO, MS, NH, NJ, OK, OR, TN and WV.  Note: Those consumers inquiring on real estate in states that HouseRebate.com is not licensed in will be referred to our affiliate that is licensed in your state.
