The current loan limits for FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac loans have been extended through 2010. They were due to expire at the end of 2009. California, in particular, is hugely impacted by this limit extension as 80% of loans on property situated in California are funded through one of these three routes. The loan limits are set 125% of median local home prices. Currently, San Diego County???s loan limit is $697,500.
